Couch to 5K

Kevin signed up for a tri in Key West!  It will be our first trip to Key West ever.  I'm really excited.  He's training really hard at work, after work and on the weekends.  He decided to do the couch to 5K program and I'm doing it with him.  We worked really hard last summer to lose 50 lbs. but with the stress of moving and starting new jobs, we gained most of it back.  So, time to get serious again.  It will be a short, weekend trip to the Keys, but I'm hoping we will be able to go back for a week or so later.

I am really enjoying the walk/running we do at night.  It is a chance for us to talk without the distractions of technology and animals.  Maybe by the end of the program, we will be runners after all and can continue together.  Or maybe we will up the ante and get our bikes out...
